HOW TO BOOK
Telephone:01382 817637/07968 979931 or via the Website Booking Form.

                                                                               
For Short Break Holidays, a deposit of 50% must be made on booking, the balance is required at least 28 days prior to start date. Day Walks must be paid in full payment at the time of booking.

All Deposits are non-refundable.

Should the participant cancel within 21 days of the start date, no refund will be payable.

Although unlikely, if taysideTREKKING has to cancel, a full refund will be made, or an alternative date/s will be offered.

OPERATING RATIO
Typically we operate small Group’s in order to have that ‘personal touch’ - with never more than 10 in a group - Depending on the Walk the typical ratio will be 1:6.

PARTICIPATION STATEMENT
All activities have inherent hazards associated with them, and although taysideTREKKING takes due care to minimise the risk to clients, it is also important that each client appreciates that they have a responsibility to take all reasonable steps to eliminate or minimise the potential for an accident to arise. In addition, it is the duty of the client to dress and equip themselves appropriately and to inform the leader of any medical or health conditions, or any other situation that may arise during the activity. taysideTREKKING reserves the right to alter activities and locations for reasons of weather, safety or local access situations. taysideTREKKING endeavors to provide the accommodation advertised, however, reserves the right to change this accommodation to a similar standard should the need arise.

KIT LIST
Please consider wearing several layers of clothing and choose garments which are easy to move in. Dress according to the season - please note that DENIM clothes are not suitable - and a ‘wicking’ layer next to the skin is advisable. Good boots are essential for comfort, protection and safety.
Extra equipment should contain the following -
*    Rucksack liner/plastic bags for keeping items dry
*    Waterproof Jacket
*    Waterproof Trousers
*    Fleece Jacket
*    Warm Hat
*    Gloves
*    Sun hat/Baseball cap
*    Gaiters
*    Water bottle/Flask
*    Packed Lunch/Snacks
*    Sunscreen/Insect Repellent
*    Sunglasses
*    Personal First Aid Kit
*    Headtorch or small hand torch
*    Survival Bag/Whistle
*    Optional items - walking poles, camera, binoculars

INSURANCE
Being a responsible provider, whilst we carry insurance to protect us against claims of negligence, we do not insure for personal accident, damage to property or loss of earnings due to cancellation. Clients are advised to make their own insurance arrangements with regards to these matters.
